Let's Give Pombo Something to Worry About
I just had an interesting conversation with a reporter who got fed some BS about one of the co-authors of this site by Pombo's campaign. Since they can't say anything positive about Pombo and since their slime attacks aren't sticking to McNerney, they've decided to try and attack the authors of this site.
You got to wonder how well the Pombo Campaign can be going when the best thing they have to do with their time is speculate about the authors of this site. Don't you guys have volunteers to manage? A message to get out? The GOP leadership in the House just got caught trying to cover up one sick Republican Congressman's attempts to seduce teenagers under their care, and Pombo's people have time to think about this nonsense?
So let's give them something to do! Call Pombo's office and ask whether the Congressman supports the call for the resignation of anyone in Congress with prior knowledge of the Predatorgate scandal. Let's make sure he's paying attention to something that really matters.

OK, I'll give up on the serious political debate, and say that what we need is a serious limerick contest. The page scandal, Pombo himself, the marvellously politically incorrect Wampumgate and the Delaybramhoff crowd are just too much to resist. And the car Pombo drives when he's out cruising. a fake Italian exotic with a gas guzzling V-8, is just an open invitation for Jerry's boot to give him a swift kick in the Pantera (the name of the car) What...no pick up truck?
How about ( for starters) on the page scandal...

Wow, if anything shows how pathetically bad Pombo's campaign is going, it is the fact that his staff spends time checking out the authors of this site.
Here's a clue for them: we're nobodies, representing no one except the common, ordinary citizen who wants to live in a decent society, where their congressman isn't a corrupt, anti-environmental, idealogical nutcase beholden to polluting industries and hellbent on destroying forests, rivers, and wilderness.
We don't get money from any one or any group. I know that is an extremely hard concept for Pombo to grasp, that people will work for a better world without seeking fame or fortune, but that's how it is.
How pathetic can this guy get? Too bad Pombo doesn't have a real campaign to attend to, that would give his staff something to do besides waste time trying make crap up about anyone here.

That's good maybe we can charge, 26 cents for the paper if the people want it printed. I used to do a paper called the Donut Shake News in Escalon. Most people loved it, except the Republicans who owned the town. I printed it 5 days per week it killed the Escalon Times. Maybe we can call the Pombo Express out of town.
