Richard Pombo, Candidate for Congress

Just like yesterday, this picture doesn’t need too many words.

This is a reminder that today is the last day to cast your vote for Jerry McNerney in the DCCC’s “Candidate for Change” contest. They apparently have their own reasons, but they didn’t see fit to include Jerry’s name among “some of our hardest-working, most progressive campaigns who have shown they can win.”

But… they also left a blank space for write-in nominations. Go to their website and write in “Jerry McNerney (CA-11).” Then email the link to your friends, your family, anyone you can think of, and ask them to do the same thing. Be the change you want to see in the world. Oh, and feel free to tell the DCCC exactly how you feel.

You can use this as an open thread.

I believe the picture was taken at the forum in Tracy,Pombo was defending himself at the time. The quotes were. " I have never done anything illegal while in Congress all I have done is what I have done for my family and the people of my district." Graft, illegal payments to family, spend money on a trip with tax payers money, pay fines of $10,000 to the FPPC, Pay money to defend Tom DeLay, collect and spend money from lobbyist like Centry 21, and Abramoff, try to sell federal parks and ports to foreign investors,Lobby Federal money for my families and friends to so they can profit from those programs as I do by selling off Ferderal Prison money to the city of Tracy, next to property we own.
Oh, dont forget the federal money for the windmills.
