Are The CA-11 Candidates Ready for Prime Time?

The Contra Costa Times has a brief account of the CA-11 candidate debates that were taped for broadcast throughout Contra Costa County. Richard Pombo declined to appear at the forum, but the other candidates, Steve Filson, Jerry McNerney, Steve Thomas, Pete McCloskey and Tom Benigno, participated.

Here is the television schedule for Contra Costa County:

Congressional District 11: Democrats

Contra Costa Television, Channel 27 countywide except for Astound customers in Walnut Creek and Concord, where it is Channel 32: Monday, 10:30 p.m.; May 14, 7 p.m.; May 21, 9:30 p.m.; May 29, 8 p.m.; and June 4, 9:30 p.m.

Comcast Channel 26 in Central Contra Costa County, and Channel 16 in Walnut Creek: May 26, 10 p.m.; May 28, 5:30 p.m.; May 30, 9 p.m.; June 2, 10 p.m.; and June 4, 5:30 p.m.

Yo to all youse guys.

Adrian got back from choich, and said she gotta set me up with a real e-mail account. Now I don't know much about computers, but she said she gonna fix me up wit a hot-mail account to which I replied "you my hot-female baby, lets go make like some elderberries and whine." Heh heh.

Tanks for dis news babaloo, as I do know how to work my TV. I'm gonna watch dose Dems, and see if I see that Rickey guy lurking in duh shadows.

Let's get a substantive discussion going on the issues that separate the Democrats (might be a welcome departure from the mud-slinging).

From the Contra Costa Times article on these televised appearances:

All three Democrats criticized the Bush administration's handling of the Iraq war but offered different solutions.

Filson said it's "irresponsible to get out now," Thomas wants to "start immediately pulling troops out" and McNerney suggests "a public timetable for withdrawal."
